Senior tool design engineer
Job Description
Design and develop precision injection moulds, stamping dies, and tooling assemblies using advanced CAD/CAM software. You will translate customer component drawings into complete tool designs, define parting lines, gating systems, and cooling layouts, and produce detailed 2D drawings with GD&T callouts. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams through the full tool development lifecycle — from concept review to first-article approval.
CNC programmer
Job Description
Write, simulate, and optimise CNC machining programs for precision tooling components including moulds, dies, fixtures, and electrodes. Set up machining centres, select cutting tools and parameters, and verify programs through dry runs and in-process inspection. Work with the design and quality teams to achieve tight tolerances and surface finish requirements consistently across production batches.
Quality control engineer
Job Description
Own inspection planning and execution for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final validation across tooling and production programmes. Conduct dimensional verification using CMM, optical comparators, and hand gauges. Apply SPC techniques, raise and track NCRs, lead root-cause investigations, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Support customer FAI submissions and maintain records aligned to the company's certified QMS.
Tool room supervisor
Job Description
Plan and supervise day-to-day tool room operations covering machining, fitting, EDM, and assembly. Manage a team of skilled toolmakers, coordinate workload scheduling, ensure adherence to quality and delivery targets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Liaise with design, production, and customer programme teams to resolve tooling issues quickly and maintain a safe, well-organised workshop aligned to certified QMS standards.
Graduate engineer trainee
Job Description
A structured graduate programme designed to develop mechanical engineers through hands-on exposure across machining, mould design, quality, and production departments. Trainees rotate through functions under senior mentorship, learn to read engineering drawings, use metrology equipment, and understand the precision manufacturing processes that underpin MacPro's customer commitments. Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and a drive to learn in a shopfloor environment are essential.
